Good news for our region! - Friday, July 12, 2013

A delegation representing the area attended the DNR commission meeting yesterday and Warren Woods reported that the DNR overturned their previous decision and approved construction of a concrete trail around the lake at Green Valley State Park north of Creston.  This new section of trail will connect with the existing McKinley Park/Creston trail, making it truly a "Park to Park" trail.  Thank you for supporting this project through letters of support from the  RPA 14/ATURA Policy Board sent to the DNR commission members last month.
