MISSION STATEMENT


The mission of the Southern Iowa COG Housing Trust Fund, Inc. (SICOGHTF) is to plan for and assist with the current and projected housing needs of the Southern Iowa COG region, resulting in addressing our primary concern - affordable housing. Through planned activities and leveraged resources, the Southern Iowa COG Housing Trust Fund will provide opportunities for affordable housing to the residents within the region.

Each member of the Board shall be a person whose experience or occupation or position broadly represents the community and the residents of the area served and falls within one or more of the following categories: Real estate brokers or agents, Private developers, Attorneys or appraisers, Accountants, Officers, including loan officers, of financial institutions, Consumer and housing advocates, Low to moderate-income residents.
