Beth Waddle – Executive Director

Beth was the Executive Director of the Adams Community Economic Development Corporation for almost two decades and had been a part-time program manager of the award-winning Main Street Corning while serving as the Executive Director of the Adams Community Chamber of Commerce. She was raised in Adams County, then left to attend college. Beth has lived in Nebraska, Missouri and New York before returning to Iowa in 1988.  Upon her return to Iowa she worked as a legal secretary, an insurance specialist, and as Executive Director of the Southwest Iowa Coalition before accepting a position in 2001 with ACEDC and Chamber.  Beth is an active community volunteer and recently received the Joe Cook Lifetime Volunteer Award in Corning, an Iowa Rural Development Council “Iowa Rural Hero” award, and volunteer award from the Iowa High School Athletic Association.  Beth looks forward to meeting with everyone and continuing the SICOG legacy of excellent service to our counties and communities.

Judy Brimm – Finance Director

Judy Brimm is the Finance Director of SICOG and is responsible for all the financials of SICOG and SICOG Affiliates. In addition to her financial duties, she assists with RLF programs, reporting, and assists with most of SICOG’s programs.

Jeremy Rounds – Regional Planner

An employee of SICOG since 1998, Jeremy Rounds has a Bachelors of Science in Community and Regional Planning from Iowa State University.  Jeremy is a Regional Planner at SICOG that does a little bit of everything, including: comprehensive plans, hazard mitigation plans, housing projects, water and sewer projects, and numerous grant applications.  His passion is community and housing development, focusing on making the region as prosperous and viable as possible.  He works to find new funding avenues to solve the region’s problems and to introduce ideas that will improve quality of life and community design. In his time at SICOG, he has worked on hundreds of projects, from housing grants and large planning documents to administration of CDBG and FEMA grants

Jessica Hagen – Transportation Planner

Jessica joined SICOG after a career in the pharmaceutical industry. After spending a few years in North Texas and working in Human Resources/Administration she decided it was time to move back to her hometown of Creston to raise her family.  Jessica started as a Planning Tech and advanced her way to her current position.

As a Transportation Planner Jessica provides administrative support for the Technical and Policy Committees. Working with federal, state and local agencies to organize the transportation planning process within the area boundaries.

 

Kendra Comstock – Planning Tech

Kendra has been with SICOG for two years.  Kendra was born and raised in Corning, IA. Kendra now resides on her farm South of Lenox, IA with her husband, Aaron and dog, Luna. Currently, Kendra is completing her Associates in Business and Accounting. 

Terry Niestadt – Regional Planner

Terry joined SICOG July 2022. Terry was born and raised in Louisville, Kentucky. He has a Bachelors of Science in Geography, Sustainability, and Environmental Studies and a Minor in Tourism and Events from Western Kentucky University. Terry is a Regional Planner at SICOG, and works diligently on different regional and community projects.
